Dr. Larry Karcher serves as Vice President of Engineering. He has a wealth of experience in designing and building production plants, having played key roles in developing new processes for a range of bioproducts, nutraceuticals, sweeteners, and biofuels. Dr. Karcher was previously Process Development Group Leader at Archer Daniels Midland. Prior to ADM, he held positions at A.E. Staley / Tate & Lyle, focusing on pilot plant development for new processes to produce chemicals from carbohydrates. Dr. Karcher earned a Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of Illinois and a B.S. in Chemistry from Bradley University.
