Dr. Jay Kouba serves as Chief Executive Officer. He brings over 25 years of experience in the global petrochemical industry. Prior to joining TetraVitae, Dr. Kouba was CEO of Metabolix (NASD: MBLX), and remains Chairman of the Board there. Previously, he held several positions with BP's Petrochemicals Segment, including Senior VP, Strategy, Marketing and Technology for Innovene, BP's olefins and polymers subsidiary; VP Sales, Marketing and Logistics; and VP of Chemical Technology. Dr. Kouba received a B.S. in Chemistry from Stanford University, a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard University, and a M.B.A. from University of Chicago.
